We are looking for a Manager Community who will act as the localization expert and growth driver for building and scaling our contributor and vendor ecosystem across the United States.
This role will be responsible for creating, managing, and growing engaged communities across platforms like Discord, Reddit, Twitter (X), Facebook, and other emerging channels, ensuring a strong pipeline of high-quality contributors for AI data projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community Building & Growth (Primary Focus)
- Build and scale USA-based contributor communities across platforms:
- Discord/ Reddit/ Twitter (X)/ Facebook/ YouTube, etc.
- Develop platform-specific strategies to drive engagement, retention, and growth
- Launch and manage online campaigns, discussions, and community initiatives
- Act as the voice of Shaip in the USA market, ensuring cultural relevance and localization
2. Contributor & Community Management
- Manage and engage with contributors across:
- Social platforms, emails, chat groups
- Support onboarding:
- Profile setup, platform navigation, project access
- Share regular:
- Updates, announcements, and engagement content
- Ensure community guidelines and communication standards are followed
3. Project Coordination & Execution
- Collaborate with global contributors and vendors to ensure:
- Timely delivery
- High-quality outputs
- Monitor project progress, timelines, and risks
- Identify and escalate:
- Delays, quality issues, blockers
4. Active Project & User Support
- Guide contributors on:
- Task instructions, workflows, tools, and submission processes
- Resolve issues such as:
- Access problems
- Misunderstanding of guidelines
- Technical challenges
- Ensure quick resolution or escalation of critical issues
5. Vendor & Partner Ecosystem Development
- Build and manage USA-based vendor and freelancer network.
- Conduct outreach via:
- LinkedIn, email, community platforms
- Manage communication, onboarding, and relationship building
- Support pricing discussions aligned with market benchmarks
6. Operations & Reporting
- Maintain structured tracking of:
- Contributor queries
- Community engagement metrics
- Project issues and escalations
- Update systems:
- VMS tools, dashboards, trackers
- Share regular reports on:
- Community growth
- Project health
- Contributor performance
Skills & Competencies Required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills ((USA market fluency)
- Hands-on experience managing communities on:
- Discord/ Reddit/ Twitter (X)/ Facebook
- Ability to build and grow digital communities from scratch
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Organized approach to tracking, reporting, and execution
- Understanding of crowdsourcing / gig economy / AI data ecosystem (preferred)
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Operations, or related field
