Shaip Joins Ubiquity

What this means for you

1. Why did Ubiquity acquire Shaip?

Headquartered in New York, Ubiquity Global Services is a global provider of digital transformation, customer experience, and technology-enabled services. Ubiquity partners with leading enterprises to deliver operational excellence and innovation through advanced technology, proprietary platforms, and global delivery capabilities.

Ubiquity acquired Shaip to strengthen and scale its end-to-end AI capabilities. Shaip brings a rare combination of proprietary technology, deep domain expertise, and ethically sourced, high-quality data—critical assets that directly enhance Ubiquity’s AI strategy.

The acquisition enables Ubiquity to support the full AI lifecycle, from data sourcing and licensing to annotation and validation. Together, this allows Ubiquity to help enterprises accelerate AI adoption with greater confidence, higher data quality, and stronger compliance.

The acquisition positions Shaip for long-term growth while preserving what has made the company successful. Shaip will continue to operate as a specialized AI data platform within Ubiquity Global Services, maintaining its focus on high-quality, ethical, and domain-specific AI data solutions.

With Ubiquity’s global scale, enterprise relationships, and delivery infrastructure, Shaip will be able to expand its reach, invest further in its platform and capabilities, and serve customers more effectively. At the same time, Shaip’s leadership, culture, and commitment to responsible AI will remain central to how the business operates.

Overall, this combination strengthens Shaip’s ability to support enterprise customers across complex AI use cases while creating new opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.

At present, there are no immediate changes to the leadership structure. Shaip will continue to be led by its existing leadership team.

Hardik Parikh, Co-founder and Chief Revenue Officer, based in the Bay Area, California, will lead the overall vision, strategy and growth.

Utsav Shah, Country Head (India), based in Ahmedabad, will continue to lead operations.

Bala Krishnamoorthy, Senior Vice President, Product and Engineering, based in India, will continue to lead the Shaip technology platform.

The majority of Shaip’s employees will join Ubiquity, ensuring continuity across teams, expertise, and customer support.

Shaip’s Co-founder and current Chief Executive Officer, Vatsal Ghiya, will not be joining Ubiquity.

We value Shaip’s unique culture and are committed to preserving it. While Ubiquity’s practices and policies may be integrated, we aim to blend the best aspects of both companies’ cultures.

Customers can expect continuity in service, quality, and delivery. Shaip will continue to support clients with the same focus on data quality, security, and ethical standards.

Over time, customers may also benefit from expanded capabilities, additional resources, and broader global support as Shaip’s offerings are enhanced by Ubiquity’s scale and infrastructure.

Customers should expect continuity in delivery—same project workflows, same standards, and the same focus on quality and responsiveness. Over time, being part of a larger organization may help us bring additional operational support and scale, but our day-to-day delivery model and customer accountability remain Shaip-led.

No—Shaip’s approach to privacy, security, and responsible data handling does not change because of this endorsement. We will continue to follow the same contractual and policy commitments you have today, including strict handling of sensitive and regulated data.
